Tipperary GAA, steeped in a proud tradition within Gaelic sports, engaged us to design and supply their new gym at the Tipperary Centre of Excellence at Dr. Morris Park. Our primary goal was to create a high-performance environment specifically tailored to the athletic needs of Gaelic games, with a focus on conditioning, recovery, and skill enhancement. The completed facility provides Tipperary’s athletes with a professionally crafted training space equipped with premium equipment and bespoke design elements that reflect the team’s commitment to excellence.

Planning and Preparation

Our planning phase started with a comprehensive consultation to capture Tipperary GAA’s vision and meet the specific needs of their athletes. We undertook a detailed assessment of the available space, ensuring the layout would support optimal performance, recovery, and accessibility. The design included a custom rig with integrated storage between rack stations, making efficient use of space while providing practical storage solutions for training equipment. Branded name plates featuring the Tipperary logo were added, giving the gym a unified, professional aesthetic and a strong sense of identity.

In addition, we customised all the machines to ensure a cohesive, uniform appearance across the entire facility, enhancing the overall visual impact and reinforcing a high-calibre, professional environment for both athletes and coaches. This approach ensured that every element contributed to a cohesive and motivating atmosphere, seamlessly aligned with Tipperary’s branding.

Installation Process

The installation process was meticulously planned to minimise disruption to Tipperary GAA’s ongoing training schedule. Throughout, we maintained clear communication with the Tipperary GAA team to coordinate each phase and adhered strictly to all health and safety protocols.

The installation was executed in two key phases:

1. Delivery and Inspection: All equipment, including the custom rig and branded components, was delivered and inspected to confirm it was in pristine condition and ready for final placement.

2. Assembly and Layout: Each piece of equipment was assembled according to the pre-approved layout, with careful attention to optimising floor space. Machines were positioned to ensure smooth traffic flow, maintain safe spacing for functional use, and highlight the custom design elements, such as the Tipperary logos on name plates and the bespoke rig with integrated storage. The result was a professional layout designed to support efficient and safe training.
