Centurion rugby: common questions

What is the difference between a tackle bag and a rucking shield? A tackle bag is a full-length cylindrical bag used to practise the tackle itself, absorbing a body-weight hit. A rucking shield is a flat pad held by a coach or player to develop contact, body height and clear-out technique at close range.

What is an Aqua trainer ball? A weighted or water-resistant training ball designed to replicate handling a heavy, wet ball. It builds grip strength and cleaner catching technique, then makes a dry match ball feel easier.
